London's Workforce: Action together

Following our successful event on the 2nd February to help shape workforce strategies and delivery plans across London, please join us to celebrate the launch of London’s Workforce Strategic Framework and together focus on how we take action on London’s key workforce challenges.
Please join us to share ideas, identify support and influence key decision makers through join sessions exploring:

• Loving London: find out how together we can address London’s recruitment and retention issues across different professional groups
• New models: share what we have learned across London and beyond on new models of care and new ways of working
• Primary health care and community services: understand how workforce challenges associated with the shift of provision to primary health care and community services can be tackled by the whole health and social care system
• Our digital future: learn how digital services and self-care will radically transform our workforce

We will be demonstrating practical tools to support you, including:

• workforce modelling tools to support insightful planning
• access to online resources to share great ideas
• qualitative toolkits to enable your teams to identify the workforce implications of your transformation activities, and those actions which could address existing workforce challenges
• sharing approaches that best enable staff to work increasingly across organisational boundaries including through HR Contracts and Indemnity to name but a few
• practical support in the adoption of new roles, such as physicians associates
• putting into practice innovative workforce solutions from across London – hear directly how colleagues have solved the most pressing challenges
